Cultivated hospitality from family tradition since 1919 with a lot of personal charm and flair. At Landhaus Knappmann we consciously maintain a tastefully down-to-earth, but by no means dusty inn tradition. Preserving the good, open to the new, tradition combined with modern comfort, that's what our country house stands for.

Especially important to us is the personal contact with our guests. Because satisfied guests are our greatest asset.

Landhaus Knappmann is idyllically located in the immediate vicinity of the Ruhr Valley cycle path, which runs along the Ruhr for 230 kilometers from Winterberg to Duisburg. Discover one of the most varied river landscapes in Germany and lots of pure nature, and in addition to comfortable accommodation and hearty brewery gastronomy, we offer you storage facilities for your bike.

Hugenpoet Castle, Landsberg Castle, the Kettwig reservoir and the Bergisch-style old town of Kettwig are just a few of the sights in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

The Ruhr Valley landscape and nature reserve with its extensive forests on the Ruhr Heights begins directly behind the hotel and is just ideal for relaxing and extended walks or bike tours.

The popular Ruhr Valley cycle path runs not far from the hotel and offers unimagined possibilities for a short holiday.As a particularly hiking and cycling-friendly hotel, free maps and extensive information are available to our guests.
